Growing up my dad always said choose a path that you enjoy so you never have to work. I thought, well, if I can draw what goes on in my head and make a living, sign me up!
I started my career at Hallmark Cards where I spent 10 amazing years being creative all day. The last department I worked in was new product development, where I learned how to go from concept to counter.
I left there in the late 80s and headed to the Southwest, putting my pencil to paper in Arizona, creating things that make me laugh.
